Painting uPVC windows/doors – what paint?
Want to paint white uPVC frames black for a modern look. Need paint that sticks properly, doesn’t peel in rain, and is easy for DIY.

uPVC painting works if prepped right – clean, lightly sand, use adhesion promoter. Wrong paint flakes off quick. I used a specialist uPVC formula; held up well. Paintlab has uPVC paint in their range – designed for plastic frames, good adhesion, weatherproof https://www.paintlab.ie/collections/upvc-paint . Did my front door and windows; colour stayed true, no cracking after winter. Follow their prep guide closely. Test a small spot first.
