Dryer not heating up – anyone had this fixed in Nashville?
My dryer runs but the clothes come out still damp, no heat at all. It's a fairly common Whirlpool model, probably 5-6 years old. I'm in Nashville and hate the idea of just replacing it if it's something like a heating element or thermal fuse. Has anyone dealt with dryer repair locally lately? Who did you call, how much did it end up costing, and were they actually reliable?

Had the exact same problem a few months ago – no heat, just tumbling forever. Looked up a couple options and went with NashFix since they specialize in that kind of stuff. Tech showed up on time, tested it, said it was a burnt-out heating element and bad thermal fuse (pretty standard failures). Parts plus labor came to around $280, way less than a new dryer. Fixed in one visit, works great now. Their page has some similar dryer repair stories if you're interested https://nashfix.us/dryer-repair/ . Not pushing them as the only choice, but it was hassle-free for me. Good luck getting yours sorted!
